Water Worlds

We have done lots of art work based on our topic this term.
Everyone contributed to this mural.
Some of our parents helped us with our batik when they came
to our class carousel.
Some of our designs show under the sea scenes...
Some of us used a pond theme.

Outdoor Maths

We use Book Creator on the IPads to record our findings.

We wanted to find examples of angles and lines
We found examples of shapes too.

Are they parallel or perpendicular?
We looked for square numbers, prime numbers, factors and multiples.
It really helped us to remember what all these tricky mathematical terms mean.
It was fun too!

Little Ships in World War II

We found out all about the Dunkirk rescue and then designed and made little models out of wood.

Working Carousels

We used an electric circuit with a motor in it to make our models spin round.

A great climbing challenge.

Don't look down!

Zooming down the zip wire.
